Mazowe RDC (Being the gateway to Mashonalamd Province the District shares boundary with the capital city Harare and the New Smart Cyber City. Proximity to airports in Harare as well as easy to rail and road networks. Mazowe RDC boasts of 42 different minerals (which include gold, platinum, chrome and tantalite) according to 2018 geological survey carried out by the district.
It has good agricultural soils which is supported by good rainfall pattern. Adding on; it is host to the national earth station making it ideal for ITC hub. The district has 98 perennial dams which can enhance irrigation for all year-round farming.
Moreover; the district is host to rich history dating back to the 1st Chimurenga heroes which include Mbuya Nehanda. Furthermore; its home to Msekure and Baradzanwa (the departure place of various tribes of Zimbabwe having arrived from Guruuswa)
